A message from Hattie's Grandad:

Over the years I have done many things for lots of worthwhile charities. They have always been third party causes. When my beautiful one year old Granddaughter Harriet, 'Hattie', was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, fundraising got very personal.

A few years ago I took part in the Wooden Spoon Six Nations Golf Challenge, playing a round of golf  in each of the Six Nations: Italy, France, Scotland, Ireland, England and Wales within a 48 hour period.

I once got sponsored to play seven rounds of golf in 24 hours and have done many charity football and rugby matches. When we got news of Hattie's diagnosis I knew I wanted to do something to raise money.

This time around my knees won't let me take on a sporting challenge so I have tried to choose something anyone can take part in and I am asking you to please join me and help spread the word of #hattieshaka to raise as much as we can for Leukaemia Care.

We have chosen Leukaemia Care because they are a small charity who do incredible things for the families affected by blood cancer and your money will make a big difference to them.
